Arianna Huffington

Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington has been a Greek American columnist, author and businesswoman for more than 20 years. She is the co-founder and chief executive officer of Thrive Global, as well as the author of 15 books. Arianna Huffington, an independent liberal news website, is a television personality, author, and charitable donor. She moved out of Greece to England at the age of 16 and received an MA at Cambridge University in Economics. The famous debating society The Cambridge Union was her first presidency and she did it when she was 21. Following graduation, she left her name as a conservative syndicated columnist and, with the launching of The Huffington Post' few years later she created an online voice platform that gave critical opinions about the current political climate. Her popularity enabled her to get a variety of stars to voice their views regarding current affairs, the culture and politics. Arianna became famous in 2003 when she decided to stand independently for the California recall election in order to succeed then Governor Davis. She also headed the Detroit automobile project that was fuel efficient. Forbes named her as 12th on its top 10 list of Most Influential Media Women. Guardian also included the Huffington Post on their Top 100 list in 2010. AOL Inc. named her president of their media division in 2011 after they acquired The Huffington Post. The Huffington Post included the other AOL brands such as Engadget AOLmusic Style list and Patch Media. Elli has two siblings, Konstantinos Stasinopoulos as well as Elli the other, both of whom are journalists and consultants in management. While she was close to her father, her connection with her mother shaped the course of her entire life. She was a leader from the beginning. at the age of 16 she emigrated into the United Kingdom to pursue her education and was enrolled at Girton College Cambridge. In the time of her studies she was a member of the Cambridge Union debating group where she rose to become the first woman president, and also the only foreign president. She graduated in 1972 with a Masters in Economics. Following her graduation, she was employed as a columnist critic and an anchor on TV. She was on the show with Bernard Levin on an edition Face the music, and she started writing her own novels with his assistance.
