Ky-Mani

Ky-ManiWith his third untitled album almost complete, Ky-mani is definitely a star as a person in his own right. Ky-mani was born in Falmouth, Jamaica, to Robert Nesta Marley, a legend as well as Jamaican table tennis champion, Anita Belnavis. East African word Ky-mani means "adventurous traveler". As a man who lives up to his title, each album and travel is an exciting experience. His journey into music began in 1999 with The Journey. Through an eclectic approach, he searched for his niche while exploring the entire musical spectrum to discover his numerous skills. Many More Roads, a classical reggae record that was nominated for a Grammy in 2001 proved that Ky-mani was a mature artist. Many More Roads, as well as The Journey are well-received around the world and established Ky-mani as an independent "artist". Ky-Mani brings together roots reggae hip hop, R&B, and contemporary jazz to form his unique sound.
